Comments

When visitors leave comments on the website, I collect the data shown in the comment form, as well as the user agent string (used to identify the browser), to help detect spam.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check whether you are using it. You can find the privacy policy of the Gravatar service here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture will be publicly visible in the context of your comment.

If you subscribe to my newsletter, I will process your email address solely to send you updates about my games, major updates, upcoming releases, and future projects. The processing is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

I use the service Brevo (formerly Sendinblue). The provider is Brevo GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany. The email address you provide will be transferred to Brevo and stored there to enable the newsletter to be sent. Brevo processes the data on my behalf and in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with future effect. By submitting the registration form, you agree that the personal information you provide will be transferred to Brevo for processing in accordance to Brevos privacy policy.

No further personal data is collected as part of the newsletter. Your data will be deleted once you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent.

If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. This is for your convenience, so you don’t have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and log in to this site, a temporary cookie will be set to check if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, I will set up several cookies to save your login information and display preferences. Login cookies last for two days, and display option cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. When you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and only indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after one day.

Embedded Content from Other Websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, posts, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if the visitor had visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content, including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged into that website.

Complianz

This website uses the Privacy Suite for WordPress by Complianz to collect and record browser- and device-based consent. Contact Forms and Feedback

If you send me feedback via form or email (category, message, optionally your email address), I will process this data solely for handling your request. Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). The data is not stored on the web server but is directly transmitted via email. There is no transfer to third parties.
